DFT’s Arie Bregman and Jeff Kane Receive VMA Awards
Management, technical, and engineering professionals gathered in Tucson, Arizona for the Valve Manufacturers Association of America (VMA) annual meeting. The meeting took place this past September, and it gave VMA members the opportunity to host conferences, programs, and exhibits pertaining to the valve and actuator industry.
This is the largest U.S. gathering of industry professionals, and it gives them the opportunity to discuss critical issues and current trends. The event also presents the chance to interact with consumers and market analysts; it is also the Association’s platform to recognize industry professionals who have made outstanding contributions.
At this year’s meeting, the VMA presented awards to two members of the DFT family: Arie Bregman and Jeff Kane.
DFT’s Vice President and General Manager Arie Bregman received the VMA’s most prestigious honor: Person of the Year. As a long-standing VMA member, Mr. Bregman was presented this award for his diligence serving as chair of the VMA Technical Committee, and the significant role he has played on the VMA Education & Training Committee by developing the Valve Basics program and its 101 course. Additionally, Mr. Bregman serves as a member of the VMA Board of Directors and has contributed to other committees during his tenure.
DFT’s Sales and Marketing Manager Jeff Kane was presented with a VMA Service Award. Mr. Kane was recognized due to his exceptional work as a VMA committee member and an instructor for the Valve Basics program. He has been a consistent contributor to the Association, proving to be a reliable and dependable asset time and again.
It is with great pride that DFT Inc. congratulates both Mr. Bregman and Mr. Kane for their accomplishments! These consummate professionals give so much of themselves to clients, associates, and the entire valve industry, using their talents to serve, inspire, and motivate others.
Thanks to the VMA awards, other industry professionals will recognize the contributions of these two valve specialists.
